EXAMS & SYLLABI Computer studies, Information Technology or Information and Communication Technology? That is the question. At one extreme there are some who will say that the differences between these are fundamental, at the other extreme those who argue that it is just a question of a syllabus title. As ever, the reality is midway between the two. There is a significant amount of material on the theory side that is common to all the syllabi. The practical element is different of course. Generally a syllabus styled Information Technology will have a greater practical aspect than Computer Studies. Whatever syllabus you are following it should be your first job to download that syllabus from the website of the examining body.
