Welcome to ICTGCSE.net
This site is dedicated to giving you the necessary help to get you though various ICT and Computer Studies
examinations such as GCSE or IGCSE (the international GCSE). Within this site you will find help with the theory topics,
practical skills acquisition, and coursework.
The range of examinations on offer might seem baffling - never mind the actual syllabus requirements, so
you will also find information about the exams offered by the examination boards, with links to their
sites.
Schools using these materials are listed under links. Please, if
you can, organise a link from your site to this one.
The menu bar above has practical materials grouped mainly by Office
components. For now, any link under Practical will take you to the restyled existing
materials page.
As a result of the publication of my textbook I have now withdrawn ALL theory materials.
In future this site will be dedicated solely to practical
tutorials and practice materials - of which there are loads in
the book of course but generally the book has absorbed the
theory sheets and are of course amazingly enhanced as only a
proper publication can do.

My textbook (co-authored by Paul Clowrey, consultant edited by Brian Sargent
and John Reeves, and endorsed by CIE) is published by Collins
Educational.
Some of the practical work - especially for website authoring
and presentation authoring has been taken from this site (so,
I'm sorry but you'll no longer find all the Pete's Parrot and
Colin's Coins material here anymore).
If you like my Access
material on this site then you'll find the data types and
database chapter I wrote for the book a treat. The
spreadsheet material I produced for the book is a new departure
for me as I hadn't put up any here before - all good stuff.
The student book comes with a CD comprising all the practical
materials on it and every unit in the book has exam style/length
questions written by me.
The Teacher Guide also provides all the answers to all the activities in the student book, lesson plans,
worksheets, schemes of work.....
